We use EZ Texting to send out reminders for new students, follow up with demo students, reach out to families about makeup classes, and occasionally send out promotional texts.
  • Create unlimited groups to help organize contacts
  • Create templates for future use
  • Create trackable links
  • The app does not offer the same functionality as the website
  • The character limitation is far too strict. (SMS vs. MMS)
  • I wish I could filter more with the groups such as send to group A, but remove anyone who is also in group B.
  • The copy and paste feature has never worked for me in regards to uploading contacts. Instead, I have to create a CSV and manually remove all ()- and spaces for it to be compatible. This is a very time-consuming extra step.
It is convenient to have a text service that multiple users can access, but I find that it is over-priced and has too many limitations. When I first joined, there was not an additional charge for MMS, and so this change tripled in price for me very shortly after I joined. I also find that the limited number of users (in my current package) is unnecessary and feels like just another way for EZ Texting to make money. While it is functional, it does not feel like a customer-focused business.

I used EZ Texting for an event - XO Summit - where 50+ of our portfolio CEOs come together for a 3-4 day summit. I was able to send pre-event, during event and post event details to them seamlessly! I categorized them into groups, etc. I also had a separate group for our staff. I was able to send to the specific stakeholders really quickly, and preview which was a big deal to me. Pictures and links were easier with EZ Texting than other options I've tried as well!

I use it to reach out to my students, I teach a GED class and dealing with this group, email is not too effective, So I use EZ Texting it is fast and effective. they record conversations and also give the option for announcements and mass text message. They also have a AI feature that help me with making sure I'm speaking the correct way to my audience. Rather that's professsional, goofy, informational, soft spoken, however they assit. very useable tool, and a very great price.

I love that I had the option too get my message re-typed for errors. and also I love the fact that I can send my supervisor a report of how many times I used this tool, that helps them want to pay for this moving forward. EZ Texting is the main program we use at The Music Yard for communicating with our clients, wether it is 1-on-1 communication, or group communication. It's easy to use, but also has a ton of really great features! From the web browser, to the Ipad, and Iphone apps EZ Texting work great across all platforms, and with multiple users on at the same time. EZ Texting has helped optimize our time and makes it real quick and easy to communicate with clients and with our staff. You could definitely use EZ Texting to your benefit!

  • I often click on Inbox but it doesn't pop up. I have to click other menu items, then click on Inbox for it so show up
  • It is difficult to find individuals. In the Contacts page, in All Contacts, I almost never get results when I type first, space, last name. I can even have a contact listed on the search page, I'm looking right at it, but if I type their name, it shows no results. VERY frustrating
EZ Texting is well suited for doing mass text campaigns, not good for initiating/conducting one on one text messages. It is not good for someone who is not resourceful in finding solutions without support. The UI is not good, the site is not insightful, and has quirks that make it frustrating unless you are patient and able to chase down solutions.

I started using EZ testing to boost engagement as an alternative to e-blasts. I was told by coaches at Tom Ferry that texts are shown to be much more effective than e-mails, and that was evident to me the first day I started using the app. I love that it notifies me on my cell phone as well, so I don't have to keep checking inside the app. This is a better way for me to notify my clients about any new listings- instead of waiting for clients to find them on Streeteasy, or Zillow, or to open my e-mails knowing that so many have SPAM settings and never see my emails. Thanks to EZ texting, I am able to get ahead of competitors and stay front and center with my clients. With the click of a button, I can text my entire database and be assured that the message didn't fall through the cracks. I will continue to use this product and will recommend it to other brokers and anyone else in the sales or service industry. Thank you.<br>

For me, getting a new listing means that I am racing against a clock as well as other competitors to find a buyer. Sometimes 3 or 4 agents will be sending a listing to the same buyer. The ability to text multiple buyers at once means that I can get my listing in the hands of a buyer first - and EZ texting helps me stay in front of my buyers, and I never have to worry about losing credibility when other agents reach my buyer first.

We use EZ Texting to communicate with candidates and our current employees. The product helps with time consuming phone calls and with dealing with a younger generation, who are not keen to answering phone calls.

EZ Texting has provided us with a lot of different solutions with our Marketing and Advertising Department and is proving itself to be worth more than its weight in gold. The platform is so straightforward and simple that a novice user will be able to handle complicated tasks. We have also taken advantage of its API resources to automate our SMS campaigns.

We were looking for a solution to replace Zipwhip when it was purchased by Twilio and no longer offered and affordable solution to texting customers from our own business number. My only complaint is that we weren't told that texting from OUR NUMBER was more of a courtesy "sprinkle on the donut" than the regular means of use. They assigned us an arbitrary phone number, then we added ours as the default but when using the mobile app the past few months it ignores the default number; when using on a desktop you an easy select which number to text from though. This is something that previously worked and no longer does...when we called to find out why, we were told that using it in that way wasn't really possible because they were still beta testing it or something like that. Once that gets resolved, it'll be a a great tool.

We use it to contact our students and their parents regarding changes in the schedule, moving classes to online versus in person, sign up for events and request necessary information needed to complete their registration. We break down our students into different groups, into different classes and into catergories for minors as to whether they are the student of the parent of the student. We can communicate accordingly to each group because EZ Texting allows us to create different groups that the person could belong to for example one parent can belong to different groups because they have more than child enrolled and each child is in a different program. We can select which group will get our information and we do not have to type the name several times. We just change what group that parent belongs to or add another group to the parent file. GA
  • We can send photographs of flyers for the parents if the parent did not receive the paper we sent home.
  • For registration the parent can send us photos of what is needed to complete the registration.
  • When we ask a student or parent for information that is needed EZ Texting makes the turn around time of the responses extremely faster than email or a phone call. Phone calls take hours upon of time but texting takes only minutes to contact all of the groups needed to be contacted and we have proof that a message was sent because we can refer to it and show the parent or student if they say they did not receive it.
  • On creating sign up forms: more choices as to what information is needed like address, parent name or student name, or program name
  • When message bounces back because of a bad phone number it would be nice if it showed in the "INBOX" as well as on the report.
  • When people opt out it would be nice to move the number into an "opt out" group
EZ Texting is best suited to us because a lot of our families have children and so the parents and students all know how to use texting even better than email. Because we send mass emails out emails go into the "Spam" folder and our students and parents cannot get our emails in a timely manner. One scenario where texting would not be appropriate is probably when we send large attachments like homework assignments. Although, if I send pictures or scanned items via texting the parents or students can print them out and turn them in.

We currently utilize EZ Texting to send mass text messages to our healthcare employees. We like offering open assignments, assignment changes, holiday closure information and to notify staff when needed credentials are going to expire. We find its the quickest most convenient way to get information out to multiple staff members at one time.

I collect cell phone numbers inside of EZ Texting with the help of Zapier. I send group emails at least once a week. EZ Texting is very useful when it comes to reaching my prospects and has boosted sales by at least 200%. EZ Texting helps me stay in front of my prospects, current customers, and past customers.

  • It is frustrating that when composing a message I'm not able to have blank line spaces. If it's a long message it looks unprofessional.
EZ Texting is an affordable mass texting option that does the job. I would be willing to pay more for better tech and a way better mobile App.

Incredibly easy to use and gives us a full menu of options to contact our customers and referral sources! Extremally affordable and gains realized by efficiency are increasingly important. Great product at the right price! We highly recommend it to anyone in small or medium-sized businesses. anyone should consider the use and it's so affordable.

We use EZ Texting to text a mobile version of our bimonthly company newsletter (which we create through Constant Contact) to all of our employees. This has been proven to help them read it (have a better percentage rate of opening for the newsletter) and get better access to it. A few of our employees don't like receiving text messages (especially from work!) so there are some who have unsubscribed from the texts but for the majority, it seems to go well and the staff like being able to have faster access to it.

We use it to send out weekly texts to our clients for our Livestream class schedule. We have also used it during fitness & wellness challenges to keep participants engaged. Some people are more likely to engage with text messages.

  • We liked it better when the image/media was delivered and showed up above the text message as supposed to below it as it does now.
I think it's great for online fitness & wellness businesses like ours. I'm having a hard time thinking of scenarios where it is less appropriate. I suppose if a fitness business was only providing on-demand services, it wouldn't necessarily need to send timely messages. Also, if a company has an app, they can send push notifications, making texts unnecessary.

I would use EZ Texting to send a mass text to the youth group at my church. It allowed me to send one-way communication to a large group of people directly to their phones.

I use it to communicate important info to members, such as last-minute changes and details. Emails are very good for much information, but using a texting service is an added bonus. It makes us much more effective and greatly improves communication and participation.

We began by using EZ Texting to communicate internally amongst staff. This year we have used EZ Texting to receive general inquiries/messages from the public, and to answer questions from the public during special events. EZ Texting has allowed us to respond to guests when our phone lines may too busy, and in a format that guests are comfortable with. The use during special events has been a great way to provide interaction with our staff at a time when we're working to maintain safe distances.

I manage the memberships of several small non-profits. Being able to easily send an SMS to any group has been invaluable, especially when there are last-minute changes. It's handy to be able to receive replies from individuals, too.
